Tychier Nickens a resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia currently living in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads Area. She is recently and happily married to her love of six years, Tyrell, and she has a dog, Muffin, who stays with her father, brother, and her doggy-sister in the Northern Neck region of Virginia. She and her husband both grew up and fell in love in the Good Ol' Northern Neck. Tychier received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in 2009 and her Master of Science in Education degree in Educational Foundations and Leadership from Old Dominion University in 2015.
Growing up in "the sticks" left little opportunity to do anything beside playing in mud, climbing trees, and enjoy a weekend trip to Tappahannock, so Tychier stuck to reading a writing. As she got older she realized she loved writing just as much or maybe more than reading. Poetry became her thing, but she loved capturing her day or week in her diary so much more. It afforded her the opportunity to scream, cry, infatuate, and be honest when she couldn't do so openly. Those diaries turned in to the rawness you may or may not find here! Enjoy!
